San Diego library labeled a “landmark;” Point Lomans treated to surprise fireworks show

“The San Diego Central Library has been designated by the Library Journal as a “New Landmark Library.” The Rob Wellington Quigley-designed building is one of 11 U.S. and Canadian libraries to earn this distinction from the 80 under consideration. The new landmarks will be highlighted in the Journal’s Sept. 15 issue.”
