Santa Maria: Oral history series tells stories of Cuyama Valley’s past

“The Santa Maria Library has a new piece of Central Coast history. Over the past year, twenty, long-time Cuyama Valley residents talked about their memories of growing up in the area and how it’s changed over the years. People from all walks of life: oil field workers, cowboys, Chumash artifact collectors are all part of the oral history series. Eight interviews are on DVD and can be checked out at the Cuyama Library or Santa Maria Library by request.”
